Frequency of cheese consumption in Japan 2023
The majority of Japanese consumers ate cheese at least once a month as revealed in a survey conducted in October 2023. While the largest share of respondents, over 37 percent, stated to consume cheese several times a week, 10.3 percent ate the processed dairy product every day.
