Nike freshwater use intensity 2021

Nike's freshwater use in textile dyeing and finishing was 79.1 liters per kilogram in the 2021 financial year. This was a reduction of six percent compared to the freshwater usage in the 2020 fiscal year. The fiscal year 2020 was set as the baseline year for the 2025 target, with within the water scope aim to reduce Nike's freshwater consumption by 25 percent in the fiscal year 2025 compared to 2020. This reduction meant that Nike achieved over a quarter of the target established to 2025.
