Share of funding received by African startups 2022, by sector
In 2022, the fintech sector received the largest share of funding that went to startups in Africa. Startups in the fintech sector received 38 percent of funding, followed by startups in the cleantech sector, which received 15 percent of funding. The third place ranking is completed by the logistics sector, which attracted 12 percent of startup funding go to companies in this sector.
