Finland: revenue of film and video industry

In 2021, the total revenue of film and video distribution and production companies was over 3.4 billion euros in Finland. Publishing of computer games was the largest sector in 2021. As a result of extensive growth in this sector, the total industry revenue reached almost three billion euros in comparison to the figures below one billion in 2016 and 2017. The second largest sector was film, video, and television program production that generated roughly 403 million euros in 2021.
