This statistic shows the results of a survey with UK adults regarding the United Kingdom's relationship with the European Union Customs Union in a post-Brexit deal. Of respondents, 49 percent prefer the UK to be able to make free trade deals elsewhere in the world, even if this means customs controls on trade existing between the EU and Britain. The opposite view of no customs controls on trade between Britain and the EU, but the inability to make free-trade deals elsewhere in the world was only supported by 13 percent of respondents.
