Share of residents per tenure status in Norway 2018
As of 2018, most residents in Norway were freeholders, amounting to a share of 70.6 percent. The share of Norwegians being part-holders or shareholders of a property was a little below 12 percent. Tenants were second most common, with approximately 18 percent of Norwegians.
