According to the survey, the most common feature of customer loyalty programs was discount codes or special offers for members (75 percent of online retailers). 70 percent of companies sent newsletters, and 45 percent gave bonus points that can be used in the store. Moreover, ten percent of companies offered free shipping exclusively to members of their customer loyalty program.
