Weekly minutes for medical examination and treatment among Japanese 1976-2016 The statistic illustrates the results of a survey conducted every five years about the weekly average time spent on medical examinations and treatments of people living in Japan. In 2016, people in Japan spent on average eight minutes per day on medical examinations or treatment, representing a slight decrease from around nine minutes in 2011. The highest amount of time was in 1976 with 12 minutes on average.
