Brazil: number of car thefts 2007-2018

The number of vehicle thefts registered in Brazil has been oscillating recently. In 2018, approximately 247.15 thousand car thefts were reported in the South American country, down from nearly 280.4 thousand cases recorded a year earlier.

Still, vehicle thefts have been more frequent than car break-ins in Brazil lately.
