Italy: electricity generation from RES 2017-2030, by source
This statistic depicts the volume of electricity generated from renewables in Italy in 2017, as well as the forecasted figures for 2025 and 2030, by source. According to data, among renewable sources, solar power was expected to experience the greatest growth, with an electricity production volume of 74.5 terawatt hours in 2030. On the contrary, the generation of electricity from bioenergy was expected to decrease, from 19.3 to 15.7 terawatt hours, over the period considered.
