High street retail: prime rent in leading European cities 2022

In 2022, Paris saw the highest monthly prime rents for high street properties in Europe. Prime properties on Avenue des Champs-Elysees achieved a monthly rent of over 1,300 euros per square meter, while in Munich (Kaufingerstrasse), and Milan (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II), the average square meter rent was 310 euros and 292 euros, respectively. High street retail refers to real estate on street level or in mixed use buildings where "core" retail activity resides.
