This statistic illustrates the total value of venture capital exits involving unicorns in Europe from 2013 to 2017, in billion euros. 2016 saw the highest value of unicorn exit deals for venture capital backed companies through either acquisitions or initial public offerings (IPOs) with a total value of approximately 30 billion euros. 2017 saw a 60 percent decrease in realized exit value, amounting to 12 billion euros.
