Radio station staffing changes U.S. 2017-2021
In 2021, 13.9 percent of radio stations in the United States decreased their staff base, down from over 17 percent in the previous year. Meanwhile, just over 14 percent of radio stations responding to the study in the final quarter of 2021 reported an increase in staffing over the past 12 months.
