The leading type of divestment in terms of amount of share of the amount of venture capital divested in 2022 in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) was the trade sale. This type of venture capital exit amounted to 78 percent of all exits. To compare, management or owner buy-back amounted to around five percent of capital divestments.
