Beef and veal meat demand per person in Japan FY 2013-2022
In fiscal year 2022, the consumption volume of beef and veal meat in Japan amounted to around 6.2 kilograms person, a slight increase from six kilograms in fiscal 2013. While the consumption of meat has been gradually rising in Japan, beef and veal still fall behind of pork and poultry in popularity.
