Number of maritime accidents in Turkey 2001-2017

This statistic displays the number of maritime accidents in Turkish waters from 2001 to 2017. Despite a general decreasing trend in the number of maritime accidents since 2010, the number of these accidents in Turkey increased by three and a half times in 2016 to reach the period's highest point. This followed with a decrease and the number of accidents equaled to over a hundred in 2017.
