Consumption of drugs to treat cardiovascular diseases 2011-2022
Between 2011 and 2021, the level of consumption of drugs to treat cardiovascular diseases in Italy increased. According to the data, in fact, the consumption of drugs for cardiovascular disorders was equal to almost 476 DDD (daily defined dose) per 1,000 inhabitants per day in 2011, while by 2021 this figure reached 503.6 DDD per 1,000 inhabitants. Conversely, in 2022, this figure was slightly lower, with 486.9 DDD per 1,000 inhabitants. This statistic displays the consumption of drugs to treat cardiovascular diseases in Italy from 2011 to 2022.
