Children's book purchase frequency in the Netherlands 2017
The statistic displays the results of a survey regarding children's book purchase frequency in the Netherlands in 2017. As part of the survey, parents with at least one child under the age of 18 were asked how often they and/or their child purchase books. The results indicate that as of 2017, very few children purchased books alone, whereas parents tended to buy books once or twice every quarter together with their children or alone. Close to 65 percent of children never bought books alone, whereas approximately 30 percent of parents bought books once every three months together with their children.
