This statistic depicts the number of ordinary household accommodations in Tokyo prefecture in Japan in 2015, sorted by housing type. During the surveyed year, the majority of ordinary households in Tokyo, about 4.5 million, lived in apartments. In contrast, only around 60 thousand households lived in terrace houses.
