Value of leading startups in Japan 2017

The statistic shows a ranking of the leading Japanese startup companies in 2017, sorted by enterprise value. In the period examined, the software development services company Preferred Networks topped the ranking with an enterprise value of approximately 233 billion Japanese yen, followed by Mercari with around 148 billion yen. Both startups are Japan's first unicorns by exceeding one billion U.S. dollars in enterprise value.
