It can be seen that the majority (61 percent) of respondents claimed that they had used a digital wallet as a payment method in the past month. This was followed by 57 percent of respondents who stated that they had used a debit card in a payment transaction in the previous month, whilst only four percent of respondents reported that they had used biometrics during a payment transaction in 2018.
