The statistic illustrates the share of respondents that had used different payment methods in the previous month in Austria as of April 2018. It can be seen that 49 percent of respondents claimed that they had used a credit card as a payment method in the past month. This was followed by 48 percent of respondents who stated that they had used a digital wallet in a payment transaction in the previous month, whilst only two percent of respondents reported that they had used biometrics during a payment transaction in 2018.
