Turkey: targets for railway transport sector from by 2035, in kilometers of track
In 2022, the lengths of operating conventional and high-speed railways were 11,668 and 1,460 kilometers, respectively. The entire length of the Turkish railway network is planned to reach 19,727 kilometers by 2035. The target envisages the construction of additional 5,345 kilometers of high-speed rail by 2035, as well as the construction of 1,254 kilometers of the conventional railway.
