Average temperature in March in selected cities in Norway 1987-2018 This graph presents the average temperature in March in Oslo, Bergen, Tromsø and Longyearbyen in Norway from 1987 to 2018. Over this period, the mean temperature in that month has fluctuated greatly in all cities. In March 2018, the capital Oslo reported an average temperature of minus 2.3 degrees Celsius. The average temperature in Bergen was 0.8 degrees Celsius, while in Tromsø on average minus five degrees and in Longyearbyen (Svalbard) on average minus 12.7 degrees Celsius were measured as of March 2018.
