In 2020, the car and passenger traffic volume index reached just 43 and 41, respectively, with 2016 as the base year used for the index calculation. This drop in traffic volume was mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions on people's movement. The freight traffic volume, however, decreased only slightly in 2020 compared with the previous year.
