Monthly sales and registrations of light vehicles in Peru 2019-2021
Light vehicle sales in Peru were severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in the first semester of 2020, but rebounded in 2021. In April 2021, some 11,700 vehicles were sold in the country, while the industry was at a standstill during that same month a year earlier. In December 2021, monthly vehicle sales had surpassed their pre-pandemic levels.
