Distribution of telecom ad expenditure in India 2019 by channel

The telecommunications sector in India spent 49 percent of its advertising budgets on television media in 2019. This was followed by 31 percent expenditure on digital media and 10 percent on out-of-home (OOH) media that year. Notably, the share of print advertising by the telecom sector went down to six percent in 2019 from about 13 percent in 2018.
