Pet monthly expenses in South Korea 2022
As of September in 2022, according to a survey on pet ownership and expenses in South Korea, about 39 percent of the respondents who owned a pet stated that they spent over 200 thousand South Korean won on their pets every month. The average monthly cost or pet ownership in the country was roughly 208.2 thousand South Korean won. The expenses for the hospital and health care of pets were included in the monthly cost in this survey.
