European banks with the largest stock of non-performing loan H1 2016
This statistic illustrates a list of European banks with the largest stock of non-performing loans as of June 2016 in billion euros. The Italian bank Unicredit had, as of June 2016/ non-performing loans amounting to over 99 billion euros. All of the top three banks for non-performing loans in Europe originate in Italy with Intesa and Monte dei Paschi having a stock of non-performing loans valuing at over 80 billion euros and 76 billion euros respectively.
