Share of people interested in politics in Sweden 2007-2017, by education This statistic shows the result of a survey on people's interest in politics in Sweden from 2007 to 2017, by education. The share of people with a higher education level being very or rather interested in politics in their country fluctuated over this period. Their lowest interest occurred in 2008, with a share of 66 percent of respondents being interested in politics. While the share was highest in 2014 for higher educated people, amounting to 75 percent, it had declined slightly in the three years that followed, reaching 72 percent as of 2017. People having a low education level were less interested, reaching a share of 49 percent in that year.
