Latin America: medical tourists 2019, by selected countries
In 2019, around 20 thousand international tourists went to Costa Rica for medical purposes and treatments, whereas approximately 9.2 thousand foreign visitors arrived in Chile for the same reason. Among the countries depicted, Colombia received the highest number of medical tourists that year, with more than 21.3 thousand.
