
Latin America: growth rates of inbound tourism volume 2020
As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded around the globe, the tourism sector in Latin America experienced harsh drops in the volume of inbound tourism. In second quarter of 2020, three subregions saw decreases of over 95 percent in this type of tourist arrivals while Mexico's inbound tourism fell by approximately 76 percent.
