Europe: concern regarding travel to Britain since the EU referendum 2016-2018

This statistic illustrates the level of concern European travelers have regarding travel to Britain following the decision of the EU referendum ('Brexit') in 2016, which resulted in the majority of the electorate in the United Kingdom voting to leave the European Union. According to the consumer sentiment survey, conducted across four waves between August 2016 and March 2018, difficulty accessing healthcare in Britain was the biggest concern for travelers, followed by potentially requiring a visa to travel to Britain. Concern for the latter in March 2018 was on par with concern regarding the cost of travel insurance rising, at 37 percent respectively.

Thinking about the possibility of visiting Britain in future, to what extent, if at all, are you personally concerned about the following?

People from my country might require a visa to travel to BritainIt will be more difficult to access healthcare in BritainTravel insurance for visitors to Britain will be more expensiveThere will be fewer connections between my country and BritainIt will be more difficult to claim compensation if travel arrangesments are cancelled
