According to the source, Sardinia was the region with the highest incidence of breast cancer as cause of death, with 41.18 women out of 100,000 population, deceased from this type of tumor, in 2016. Piedmont and Lombardy followed with mortality rates of 37.72 and 37.64 per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively.
