Checking work messages and emails on holiday Europe 2018

This statistic illustrates the results of a survey on checking work messages and emails while on holiday, in selected European countries in 2018. According to the study published by Ipsos, 69 percent of Germans agreed that they never check for messages/emails back at their work when they go on vacation. Those in Russia and Serbia were more likely to check their messages, with only 34 percent and 30 percent of respondents saying they don't, respectively.

** Approximately 1,000 respondents per country, except Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Sweden and Turkey, where the sample was approximately 500+.
Samples were nationally representative, except Russia, Serbia and Turkey, which produced a national sample described as more urban and educated, and with higher incomes than their fellow citizens. The source refers to these respondents as "Upper Deck Consumer Citizens", that are not nationally representative of their country.
