French legislative election results, 2012 versus 2017
This statistics provides a comparison between 2012 and 2017 of the distribution of seats in the French legislature following legislative elections. In the 2017 election, Emmanuel Macron's party En Marche won 350 seats in the legislature in their first election. The Front National, the party of Macron's final round Presidential election opponent Marine le Pen, increased their number of seats from 2 in 2012 to 8 in 2017.
