This statistic shows the share of votes won in the final round of France's presidential elections from 1988 to 2017, by political party. In 2017, Emmanuel Macron from En Marche! and Marine Le Pen from the Front National faced off in the second round. Macron won 66 percent of the votes, electing him as President of France. Despite the convincing loss, the 34 percent achieved by Marine Le Pen was a significant gain on the 18 percent her father achieved as leader of the Front National in 2002.
