This survey statistic illustrates respondents expectations towards covering the cost of living when retired. Respondents for this statistic had previously stated that they did not believe they would have enough savings for retirement. Of those, 42 percent stated that they would have to take another job after retirement to support the cost of living as of 2018 in Great Britain. A further 46 percent stated they would reduce their living costs to help after retirement.
