Uruguay: sugar cane production volume 2010-2018

In the 2017/18 crop year, sugar cane production in Uruguay amounted to approximately 348 thousand metric tons, down from 368 thousand tons produced a year earlier. The production of sugar cane in the country has been consistently decreasing since the 2014/2015 crop year, when production was recorded at more than 482 thousand tons. That was also the highest production volume recorded in the 2010-2018 period.
