The statistic shows the results of a survey regarding the penetration rate of smart meters in smart and medium enterprises (in Dutch referred to as mkb, an abbreviation of midden- en kleinbedrijf) in the Netherlands in 2018. The survey results indicate that as of 2018, the share of SME companies using a smart meter in the Netherlands was approximately 30 percent. The remaining respondents indicated that their company either did not use a smart meter, or that they were unaware of whether their company did so.
