Latin America and the Caribbean: distribution of good imports 2018, by category
With more than half of goods imports (62%), intermediary goods was the category with the highest import share in Latin American and the Caribbean in 2018. The following categories, capital goods and consumption goods, amounted together to close to a third (35%) of imports in that year.
