Europe: leading destinations for foreign direct investment 2018

This statistic illustrates the leading twenty destination countries in Europe for inbound foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2018, by the number of projects. The United Kingdom (UK) was the leading destination for FDI projects in 2018, with a total of 1,054 projects. This was closely followed by France and Germany, with records of 1,027 and 973 projects respectively. The Czech Republic occupied the twentieth position, with 65 foreign direct investment projects.
