
Cruise ship calls in Central America 2018-2021, by coastline
In 2021, Central American countries served a total of 325 cruises vessels at their ports, which is over 200 cruises less than in the previous year. The number of cruise ship calls in the region in 2020 and 2021 were the lowest recorded in years. Overall, the Caribbean coastline registered a higher movement in cruise ship traffic than the Pacific coastline.
