Number of employees worldwide of leading Italian fashion companies 2018
In 2018, the Italian fashion company Prada counted 13.2 thousand employees. The company with the largest number of employees was EssilorLuxottica. In October 2018, the French company Essilor merged with Italian Luxottica. Luxottica was delisted from Milan stock market on 5 March 2019. EssilorLuxottica’s majority share is owned by the Del Vecchio family and is listed in Paris.
