Money supply M1 in Eurozone 2022

The money supply M1 in the euro area increased steadily from January 2018 to September 2022. The money supply is the amount of monetary assets available in an economy. M1, called the "narrow money", includes currency in circulation (banknotes and coins) and overnight deposits. It depicts the value of the most liquid components of the money supply. The value of money supply M1 in the euro area amounted to over 11.7 trillion euros as of September 2022.
