Value of money supply M2 in Portugal 2018-2020
The statistic shows the development of the money supply M2 in Portugal from October 2018 to March 2020. The money supply is the amount of monetary assets available in an economy. The "intermediate money" is the sum of M1 (usually including currency in circulation* and overnight deposits), deposits with maturity of maximum two years and deposits redeemable at notice of maximum three months. The value of money supply M2 (excluding currency in circulation) in Portugal amounted to approximately 12.75 trillion euros as of March 2020.
