Performance expectations of institutional investors worldwide 2022, by sector
The energy, and healthcare sectors were the sectors that the largest share of institutional investors believed would outperform the market in 2021. A total of 59 percent and 49 percent, respectively, believed these two sectors would outperform. The sector where the largest share of institutional investors believed would underperform was real estate, with 35 percent of institutional investors.
