Supplementary notes

* The results for 2022 were taken from the study "Autoritäre Dynamiken in unsicheren Zeiten" or "Authoritarian Dynamics in Uncertain Times". This study contains the results of a representative survey on the political mood in Germany amongst a total of 2,522 respondents between the ages of 16 and 91. The study was carried out by a working group from the University of Leipzig around Elmar Brähler and Oliver Decker in cooperation with the Heinrich-Böll Foundation and the Otto-Brenner Foundation. The figures for the years up until 2016 come from the corresponding previous issues of the "Centre" Studies of the University of Leipzig. Depicted is the approval of "xenophobic" statements.
