U.S. internet users expected purchases from D2C companies in the next 5 years 2018 This statistic presents how much internet users in the United States expect to purchase from direct-to-consumer companies in the next five years as of August 2018. According to the findings, 36 percent of respondents stated that in the coming five years they expect themselves to purchase anywhere from one to 19 percent of their purchases from direct-to-consumer companies, while in comparison only five percent reported that they will range anywhere from 80 to 100 percent of their purchases from such companies.
