Latin America & the Caribbean: mobile internet penetration 2020, by region

As of January 2019, South America presented a mobile connectivity rate of 106 percent, as users had multiple mobile subscriptions. Meanwhile, Central America and Mexico altogether had a mobile internet penetration rate of 99 percent and the Caribbean 77 percent. Among Caribbean countries and territories, Aruba featured the highest overall internet penetration rate as 97 percent of its inhabitants were online.
